she brings us the latest. >> the fire started about 9 3:45 this morning and sent smoke and flames shooting into the air like nothing people in this neighborhood have ever seen. >> by the time i will, the house was fully engulfed. i saw the flames just shooting from the roof. >> wave after wave of a fire engines coming. i saw the plume of smoke. >> neighbors at the 1200 block of battery avenue woke to commotion. fire ripped through a three- story row home. fire officials said the blaze started on the first floor and spread up and over to the row homes on either side. luckily, no one was seriously injured five escaped from the home on fire. >> an elderly couple, two children, and an adult man.

they were treated for mild smoke inhalation. >> the son of a couple in the home got a frantic phone call, thankful to find everyone safely at a neighbor's home. >> thank god they are ok. material things don't really matter to me. life is more important. >> a firefighter fell from a ladder but only suffered minor injuries. it took several hours to get the blaze under control because there was a lot of debris inside the home. >> because of all the debris inside, it continued to fuel this fire. it was mandatory to evacuate those members. >> neighbors are thankful that everyone is ok. there was struck by the fire and devastation on their street. >> it is really scary. living in a rowhome environment, look at the impact.

it is a multiple families and homes. it is scary. >> families have been displaced by the fire. the red cross came to the scene to help them find a temporary place to stay. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> police in anne arundel county arrested a man suspected of cleaning up his burglary bid officers spotted him carrying two large packages of paper towels down the street in annapolis. police say he broke into a home at the 200 block of president street and only made off with the towels. he has been charged with burglary. police in baltimore county are investigating a school bus crash that happened during the early morning rush hour. barry simms snapped these photographs in pikesville. three people work in the best during the incident. the driver and one passenger were taken to northwest hospital with injuries. the cause of the crash is under

investigation. a baltimore county child care center is closed today after a car crashed through the side of the building. no one was inside at the time of the accident. it happened on saturday afternoon at the joy of learning center near dogwood road and woodlawn. investigators believe that the driver swerved to avoid another car when she drove into the parking lot and slammed into the building. >> we are seeing a noticeable change in the weather. already feeling as to step outdoors, climbing past the 60- degree mark. columbia right now at 61 degrees. high temperatures expected to get at least near 70 degrees. downtown closer to 72 this afternoon. west winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour. we continue to warm up in the seven-day and we will talk about that in a few minutes.

>> investigators and a grieving community search for answers after a deadly shooting at a salon and spa outside milwaukee. three women died and others were injured and are now recovering at local hospitals. the suspected shooter, radcliffe haughton, later killed himself inside the building. wife worked at the slot and recently filed a restraining order. lance armstrong has been stripped of his seven tour de france titles. it was announced this morning that the federation would not appeal the u.s. anti-doping agency's report on armstrong. >> the decision confirming lance armstrong's banned from cycling and stripping him of his tour de france titles completes the cyclist's fall from grace. "lance armstrong has no place in cycling," the president of the

agency announced today. the president described the report as sickening. >> we will striban him from cycling and strip him of his seven tour de france titles. lance armstrong has no place in cycling. >> lance armstrong described the investigation and its conclusion as a witch hunt, and his charity with strong has vowed to continue. -- cancer charity livestrong has vowed to continue. he may be forced to pay back enormous sums of money. the titles will not be awarded to another competitor because so many have been tainted by drug accusations.
